Sacred Land Press is an independent publishing branch of Indigenous Memories, a North Carolina-based organization that maintains sacred burial sites and educates the public on the lives and experiences of the Indigenous and Free People of Color who exist there.

Sacred Land Press is a storytelling platform that celebrates and preserves the rich history of Indigenous people and People of Color in North Carolina. Inspired by the aesthetics of Indigenous Pottery and Artwork found in the Hillsborough, NC region, especially in the works of Senora Lynch, a North Carolina native and Indigenous potter, and Indigenous rock carvings. The symbols in the logomark represent a rising sun, a thumbprint, and rolling green hills to represent the importance of shared history, connectivity to the land, and foundational origin stories.
