SBI Fine Fabric Finishing provides fabric treatments and textile backing solutions in the interior design industry. With over 40 years of experience, SBI Fine Fabric Finishing has been providing customers with reliable solutions with quick turnaround times, state-of-the-art systems, and environmentally friendly and non-toxic formulas for their customers. SBI Fabric Finishing and I worked together to develop 13 unique one-color pattern designs that include the official SBI Fine Fabric Finishing logo integrated with the pattern design colors, and information about each of the Defend-All and Reinforcement series treatments SBI provides.

Each pattern design was inspired by common fabric designs found in the interior design industry. These fabric designs needed to be simple, one-color, bold, and integrate the SBI logo into the pattern design for brand consistency. The designs are also color coordinated, with the Defend-All Series being in the warm range of yellows and oranges, and the Reinforce Series in the cool range of blues found in the original SBI logo icon.

These designs were tiled in 8 x 8-inch squares in preparation to be printed through Spoonflower to later have the finishes added by SBI. The intended use for these patterns was to be added on a swatch ring that would demonstrate to potential clients the capabilities of these finishes and how they interacted with standard fabric.
